Payment Options

Collus PowerStream offers various methods to make payment of your monthly invoice as simple and convenient as possible.

In person

Your bill may be paid at our office located at 43 Stewart Road without charge Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (For your convenience an after-hours depository is located at the front door of our office). We accept cash, cheque, debit card, and money orders.
 

Online with a credit card

Collus PowerStream offers an online credit card payment service powered by Paymentus. Learn more.

At most chartered banks and trust companies 

Most chartered banks and trust Companies within the Collingwood and surrounding area will accept payments, but a service charge may apply. If your invoice is overdue you cannot use this method of payment.

Online and telephone banking

We accept payments made either online or by telephone through your financial institution. Please check with your financial institution to find out if they offer this service. They will require the Collus PowerStream account number on your invoice to set up your account. Please ensure your Collus PowerStream account number is accurate for correct posting of your payment to your account. If you move or have an account number change please be sure to contact your financial institution and give them your new Collus PowerStream account number.

Pre-authorized payment plans

Please review the two options below to decide which plan is best for you.  After you decide, complete our pre-authorized payment plan form.

Variable payment plan

The variable payment plan offers a convenient way to pay your monthly billing. Simply fill out the authorization form online and we can automatically deduct the payment directly from your bank account each month. Your invoice will be sent to you as usual approximately two weeks before the due date. On the due date the net amount will be deducted from your bank account.  With this method of payment you have no more postage costs, no late charges and your bill is paid if you are away. Your participation in the plan may be terminated at any time, however we require five days notice.

Equal payment plan

The equal payment plan offers a convenient monthly budget way to pay your monthly bill. This is a fixed monthly amount based on the previous 12 months consumption at your residence. The fixed amount is deducted from your bank account on the 1st or 15th (your choice) of the month. Your monthly invoice is still sent to you, showing the balance of your account. The program ends with the August payment, then all the accounts are reviewed, and if necessary adjusted. Should a payment be required to bring your account to a zero balance, it will be automatically deducted from your account. If we owe you, we will credit your account. The program is available anytime throughout the year. Simply fill out the authorization form online and we will start you on the program. With this method of payment you have a fixed budgeted monthly amount, no more postage costs, no late charges and your bill is paid if you are away. Your participation in the plan may be terminated at any time, however we require five days notice.
